Mid-Valley Parenting is looking for people with an interest in sharing their experiences and helping to build a support network for parents in our communities by becoming parent educators. Parent educators are trained in evidence-based curricula and then paid to provide series-based programs throughout the year. Most series range from 7 to 14 weeks depending on the curriculum and are flexible to work with people's schedules.
In addition to the parenting series, parent educators have the opportunity to participate in professional development to increase their skills and comfort level as a facilitator.
