Nurturing Parenting

In the Nurturing Parenting class, parents will have an opportunity to learn the philosophy and practices of nurturing parenting, understand personality traits and how they relate to parenting and also have fun with other parents in their community. Each week, parents will explore a different topic together including:

The Philosophy and Practices of Nurturing Parenting
Ways to Enhance Positive Brain Development in Children
Communicating with Respect
Building Self-Worth in Children
Understanding Feelings
Understanding and Developing Family Morals, Values and Rules
Praising Children and their Behavior
Alternatives to Spanking
Learning Positive Ways to Deal with Stress and Anger

FREE child care (for children age birth to 11 years) is provided. Families can also enjoy a FREE meal.
