Trauma Informed Parenting Series

Join Swindells Resource Center, Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center in welcoming Emily Santiago, LEP, NCSP the Executive Director of Center for Social Resilience for a five-week series exploring trauma-informed parenting. This approach to raising children acknowledges and addresses the potential effects of past traumatic experiences on a child’s development, behavior, and emotional well-being. This parenting style is particularly relevant for children who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) Registration is required for each session. (Class is on Wednesdays, October 23rd - November 20th)
